Founder & Director of The Therapy Den

I created The Therapy Den to provide a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space where people feel comfortable sharing whatever is on their minds. My goal is to offer a warm and supportive environment where healing and self-discovery can take place.

My Background & Experience

I am a licensed Counsellor with the OCCOQ, currently working towards my psychotherapy permit with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ). With seven years of experience, I have worked with clients using a variety of therapeutic approaches to address a wide range of concerns.

In addition to therapy, I specialize in School and Career Counselling, offering:

  • Assessments for skills, interests, and values
  • Resume & cover letter writing
  • Interview preparation and job search support

I am passionate about helping individuals build confidence and overcome challenges. My primary area of expertise is Social Anxiety, where I help clients navigate fears and build meaningful relationships. Other specialties include:

I hold a Master’s degree (MSc) in Psychology from the University of Roehampton in London, England. I have completed extensive post-master’s training in:

  • Psychodynamic Therapy (Argyle Institute)
  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy
  • Systemic Therapy
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International (PSI)

I am currently undergoing additional training in:

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT)
